It was April 1998, morning at 08.00, a guy said hi to me and kept looking at me for a moment, and I just laughed at him. He was a new employee at the office where I was working. Just like that, we become bestfriends. We called each other every day, telling stories, all nights. I had boyfriend and he had girlfriend.
Christmas 1998. I broke up with my boyfriend. And I decided to off to Osaka. Travel always be my only resolution for mending my broken heart. I travel for a year until I have myself back and return back to Jakarta.
November 1999. Meeting old friends from the office, and of course my best friend was also counted. That night, we kissed. I and my bestfriend kissed. We finally admitted we were into each other. Since then, we were couple for more than 5 years.
In 2005 we decided to split up for only God knows the true reason why. Again, I travel away alone for mending my broken heart. Lucky me, I met this guy on my trip. And later on becoming my bestfriend. Eventhough we don't meet everyday, we have been in touch until today. We met up about 3 times a year and we let ourselves to confess to each other that we are in love. Again, we fall in love.
I never planned it to be this way. But for me, the only possible way to fall in love is to a man who I know very well. And it turned out to be my bestfriend.
